Description of Angler`s Paradise (Fishing )

A paradise in every sense if the word, Anglers Paradise is situated in the Eastern Cape on the fabled Garden Route. To the south there is 900m of private unspoiled coast line; to the north the spectacular Tsitsikamma (the Khoi-San word for ''a place of many waters ") mountains. The farmed Karoo starts just 14km from here.

With 7 private dams filled with trout you can be sure of a good day`s fly fishing - the ultimate freshwater fishing experience. And you will not be short of sea fishing options - about 20 different species of sea fish can fished here.

The Tsitsikamma National Park and the Storm River mouth are just 30km away - virtually on your doorstep. In the unlikely event that you need a change of scenery all you have to do is say the word and we will whisk you off for a day to the mountains or the river.

Species to be fishing

With trout dams, you can be sure of a good day’s fly fishing, the ultimate freshwater experience. Your fishing experience can further be advanced with rock angling from the unspoilt coastline on your front door, or deep sea fishing launching from the nearby world famous Cape st Francis Bay.

Because of the deep pools that the ocean created just behind the rocks, many deep sea fish have been caught from the rocks.  Musselcrackers and Galjoen, being two of those. Two bridges will ensure that you get to that perfect fishing spot.

Whales, dolphins and other mammals visit our shore regularly and sitting on your deck, you can enjoy their antics.

 Of the 37 species of whales and dolphins that can be found in the waters of South Africa, the most common that visit our beautiful coastline is the Humpback whale,and the Southern Rights whale and can be seen between June and December, While the Bryde’s whales are found slightly offshore all year round.  Killer whales frequently visit this route as well.

Accommodation

The two houses are luxuriously appointed with newly refurbished kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.

The open plan living and dining room areas complement the relaxed laidback atmosphere, and the cook on duty will enjoy endless sea views from the fully equipped kitchen.

House One, can accommodate up to five guests and house Two can sleep four. There is a choice of a fireplace in one house or an indoor braai in the other
A full DSTV bouquet will ensure that even on holiday you will not miss out on your favorite program or sport.

A home executive will services the house on a daily basis. Linen, bath towels and blankets are provided.

A separate washroom is fully equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.

Both houses also have internet access.
